Jan 19-21st in Revelstoke was some of the best snow I’ve had the chance to ride. Ski-doo’s Freeride 137 continues to amaze me. The machine chews like no other short track out there.

Just got home from some of the deepest riding of my life in Revelstoke B.C. I’ll have some video up asap but for now I just got the cove of Swedish snowmobile mag. Sno Skoter. It was a shot of Russell Dalby’s from earlier this season in the Whistler backcountry.

Just finished day three of shooting for Deep Winter photo challenge. It’s been a challenging few days with hard pack conditions but the skies were blue with some amazing backdrops. Last year I was on the winning team with Blake Jorgenson. This year I did it with my brother Dave and Photographer Rueben Krabbe. Tonight is the show so we’ll see how it goes. 

People like this guy don’t belong on ski resorts. Resorts are supposed to be a place for people to go and have fun. I do realize that there needs to be places for people to learn to ski and enjoy the slopes without people speeding by. I think the biggest problem is that resorts like Whistler put these slow zones where everyone needs to ski out. Then they get volunteers to police it and give them the right to reck peoples year because THEY thought it was too fast. 

I just got my new wraps put on from Lime nine. Super stoked on how they turned out.

This months magazines have been great for published photos of myself. Freeskiers backcountry edition came out with a bunch of ski and sled photos, Skier has a photo in Harvest, double pager in Ski Journal and Blake Jorgenson landed 3 covers of me, bringing my total of covers to 45. One in Fall Line (european mag), SBC Skier and Whistler Traveller magazine. Hope the next months can continue like this.
