This past weekend we started what is sure to be an annual trip. My brothers, a few friends and I went way down south on Lake of the woods on my brother Daryl’s houseboat. The main excuse was deer season but it’s always great to get away from everything for a few days. Turns out we stayed for 5 days of beautiful fall weather and managed to bag ourselves 8deer, a few ducks and a bunch of grouse. it’s starting to really feel like winter is on it’s way. Well, it;s my favorite time of year! next to ski season of course!! Big game hunting season opened this weekend, so my brothers mom and dad and I went on our annual thanksgiving moose hunt. Had an epic weekend that started with Daryl calling this 45and a half inche beauty right into me. This bull was our only kill although my brother Dave missed a nice 4X4 buck.

*No animals were hurt in the making of this
