I spent the month of Nov surfing in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Beautiful consistant waves off the pacific  coast of both countries. For you who haven’t been here, the driving is one of the most extreme sports with pretty much no signage on the worst roads imaginable. I have no idea how the rental car companies make it, everyone I talk to has a story about blowing up a car or having it washed away by a river but no one paying extra on their rental. You just call and say where you are and the company drops off a new car and hauls the other one away. What a great system!!!!
