Utah Pow
I was in Utah for a week at the end of January. Reports were that it was dumping and supposed to break blue for a few days. I arrived to the deepest day of the year with crystal clear skies. Utah is one of the best places to go on impulse. This trip I bought my ticket and the next day I was on a flight from Seattle at 7am. Carlo Travaralli grabbed me from the airport and by 11 am we were shooting photos with Lee Cohen. The next day it snowed another 18 inches then went blue for 4 days. It was some of the deepest driest snow I’ve ever skied.
As I shot with Adam Clark and the Levitation Project I watched other skiers ride there lines. It was amazing you could see snow hanging in the air from there last 4 or 5 turns. The airs were on making the trip a great all around tour. After the snow started getting skied out in Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude I bailed home and was out filming for Slednecks the next day.
