I’ve been in Switzerland with Damian Cromwell and Bryce Phillips for the past 10 days. It’s been a good year for snow here so we booked our flights. The day I arrived we got 30cms of new snow and it looked like the trip was lining up to be all time. Since that first day it has been sun, sun and more sun. Nice to be out in beautiful weather but the snow is getting harder and harder to find. We’ve travelled one end of the country to the other in search of the epic zone. it’s been a cool trip of exploring new terain. This is a shot from early on when you could still hit airs.

2008 has started off as good as you can get. In fact today I caught myself saying that I was sick of riding Powder. It’s snowed over 120cms in the past 7 days and there’s more on the way. Skiing and sledding around Whistler has been all time. Here’s a shot of Bryn Hughes from Brandywine today.

Dec 22nd was a long awaited day for Revelstoke residents. It’s been rumored for the past 30 odd years that Mt Mckenzie would expand. It has finally happened with the addition of a high speed quad and a 8 person gondola that gain almost 5000 feet. The skiing they access is unbelievable with glades, bowls, cliffs and pillow lines. The energy was electric as everyone was stoked to be skiing fresh snow on a brandnew resort. It was a funny feeling being on a ski hill where no one has any idea where to go or what to expect. By the middle of the day a storm pushed in dropping another 25cms overnight refreshing everything for sunday. If you’re going to check out any resort you haven’t been to this year RMR is the one.

Whistler’s been off to a good start. We’ve had a bunch of snow especially in the alpine where the snow never really melted over the summer. Even before the end of Dec I was up shooting with eric Berger on mountain as well as getting up in the heli for a day already. YEE HAH!! Snow is forcasted for all next week.

Yet again another great week of deer hunting. The crew consisted of three long time friends , both my younger brothers and my dad. We had unreal weather of blue skies and calm water. It was a blast hangin with my bros running around lake of the woods filling the freezer for the winter. *no animals were hurt in the making of this picture.
